Overview

Finastra provides market-leading software solutions for Lending, Payments, Treasury and Capital Markets, Universal Banking, and an open innovation platform for banks, fintechs, and non-banks to connect and collaborate. I led the redesign of the Quick Loan Repricing (QLR) flow for Finastra’s LoanIQ product, a large-scale project encompassing around 16,000 screens. This was part of a Proof of Concept (POC), where we aimed to show Finastra how the redesign could enhance their banking experience.

Led the modernization of the Quick Loan Repricing (QLR) flow for Finastra’s LoanIQ in a Proof of Concept (POC). 
Collaborated with key stakeholders (Loan Servicing Officers, Managers) to understand and map their workflows. 
Conducted research to identify user pain points and opportunities for enhancing platform navigation. 
Designed a user-friendly, customizable solution that maintained familiarity for long-time users. 
Ensured minimal disruption and a low learning curve to support seamless adoption of the new design

Project Learnings

Know Your Users: Customizing the flow for different roles showed how important it is to understand user needs to improve usability.
